Molly Mauney, 69, departed this life on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oxford. She was born September 3, 1952 in Lambert, MS to James Harrison and Betty Sue Wiggs. She retired from insurance sales, after working for AFLAC for many years. She loved painting, cooking, shopping, especially for shoes. She enjoyed fishing and the thrill of the fight to pull in a big catch… no matter how small. She loved sushi and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a Baptist. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 11:00a.m. until service time at 1:00p.m. with Bro. Jerry King officiating. All times are at United Funeral Service. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Mauney; four daughters, Laura Jones (Randy), Dana Kennedy, Kelley Crew and Katie Wilbanks (Craig); three sons, Will Taylor (Alex), Timothy Cason Mauney and Michael McCallum (Melissa); one sister, Connie Jones; one brother, Jim Smith; and 36 grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shellie Goolsby; and a son-in-law, Elton Kennedy. Pallbearers will be Carson Otts, Mason Taylor, Garrett Taylor, Taylor Moore, Gabe Moore, Josh Taylor, Ira Taylor and Logan Wilbanks. Honorary pallbearers will be Nolan Wilbanks, Ryan Wilbanks and Shaun Wilbanks. United Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.
